Serenity - After I finally switched to all Macs.

Today is a sad day. Today is the day we lost our friend, our mentor Mr Steve Jobs. After my own biological father, he’s one of the few men in this world I’m willing to model myself after.

I personally switched to Macs exclusively about 6 years ago. And I used to hate them. Back then I was mostly on PC and did not want to switch because I could not, for the life of me, find a video editing software as flexible as Vegas Video on the Mac. And god knows that Vegas Video was instrumental in the success of Onion Booty. Fast forward a little over 7 years later. They took everything that I loved about Vegas Video and brought it to Final Cut Pro X. A lot of people were mad which I understand if you’re running a huge post house. But for the smaller operations like Onion Booty, it’s actually perfect. And this is all thanks to the company that my man Steve Jobs started.

Onion Booty has in a lot of ways been influenced by Apple’s Designs. Just peep the logo. We wanted to be the Apple of the urban adult entertainment. R (my partner) and I started paying way more attention to details on how we were gonna rebuild the Onion Booty brand. Not to stage some type of comeback, but to leave a long lasting OB4Life legacy long after we’re gone.

So we just want to say thank you to Mr Jobs for all the wonderful things you’ve introduced us to and for all the wonderful things I’m sure he left, which we have not yet discovered. And most importantly, thank you for showing us the road that could be taken. In your own words “We’ll stay foolish and we’ll stay hungry…”.
